Embroidered Postcards Workshop: Stitch Sonoma County with Crafted at Appellation
$125 All Guests
Calling all intrepid travelers! Join artist Robert Mahar in creating a charming set of embroidered souvenir postcards. He has searched near and far for a collection of perfectly patinated postmarked cards that have now been digitally restored, reprinted and made ready just for you. Instruction will guide you through best practices for stitching on paper, including the transfer of imagery and patterns, and clever finishing techniques. The resulting set can be displayed as reminders of actual or imaginary adventures, or sent to loved ones as deliverable mail art.
All materials are provided and included in the cost of the class.
Terrarium Crafting: Create Living Art with Crafted at Appellation
$150 All Guests
Discover the captivating world of terrarium crafting—an art accessible to all. No gardening experience is needed to create these living worlds; our expert will guide you through each step. You’ll learn how to use your imagination to design a unique terrarium perfect for your spring decor, then make it a reality by arranging plants and other natural materials in a beautiful open glass vessel.
All materials and tools will be supplied. These include adequately sized glass vessels, a variety of hand-selected local plants, high-quality soil, decorative natural elements, professional-grade garden snips and long tweezers for precise crafting.

Come join us for our first ever Summer Garden Party on The Terrace and The Green. Kick off summer in Rodney Strong’s back yard with your family and friends at this relaxed and festive family-friendly event. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply looking for a fun afternoon out, this party promises to be the highlight of your summer. Ticket includes first glass of wine and live music. Rodney Strong wines by the glass and bottles will be available for purchase as well as savory fare from local food trucks. Sip, play and soak in the sunshine at our beautiful winery!

Single Vineyard Dinner

Come join us for an unforgettable evening of elegance and exquisite single vineyard wines. Our Single Vineyard Cabernets represent the best of Rodney Strong and we’re excited to bring back this popular event—an evening dedicated to celebrating these outstanding estate vineyards and the beautifully unique Cabernet Sauvignons that our Winemaking team crafts from Alexander’s Crown, Rockaway and Brothers vineyards. Enjoy dining al fresco under the Sonoma County sky as we taste new release wines and also revisit some stellar vintages of the past, paired with a locally sourced, farm to table menu.
Davis Bynum Farm to Fork Lunch

Come join us for a Farm-to-Fork Lunch in the Vineyards, featuring Davis Bynum wines alongside Winemaker Greg Morthole. Savor a fresh, locally inspired family style meal perfectly paired with these iconic wines, all while dining among the vines for a truly immersive wine country experience.
Wine Club Pick Up Party

Come join us to celebrate our wonderful wine club members as we preview our fall wine club releases paired with delightful bites. Enjoy new release wines, a delectable array of local artisan bites and groove to the tunes of a local band as you relax and mingle with fellow wine enthusiasts. Ticket fees will be waived with bottle purchases equaling ticket price or more.
Fall Makers Market
No Admission Fee
Come join us for our fifth annual fall makers market on The Green at Rodney Strong! Support 20+ local artisans and start your holiday shopping while enjoying a glass of wine. Treat yourself to some delicious bites available for purchase by local vendors, and mulled wine to keep you warm while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the property. Rodney Strong wines by the glass and bottles will be available for purchase to enjoy at the winery–or take home a magnum to add to your holiday table. See you there!
Photography, video and audio release
When you enter this event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to [interviews, photography, audio recording, video recording], collectively “Content” and grant RSV the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use your name, likeness, image, voice and/or appearance as such may be embodied in any Content taken at the event, its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for [promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media or any other purpose] by RSV and its affiliates and representatives. Content may be used to promote other RSV events and brands. You agree that RSV has complete ownership of such Content and you will not receive any compensation for the use of such Content.
You release RSV, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of the Content, including any and all claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, misappropriation or misuse of image, and/or defamation. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any Content taken by RSV or its agents. You represent that you are over the age of twenty-one (21) years and you have read the foregoing and understand its contents. This release shall be binding upon you, your heirs, legal representatives and assigns.
This agreement is made and entered into under the laws of the State of California and shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of this state. No modification of this agreement shall be of any effect unless it is made in writing and signed by all of the parties to the agreement. If you do not consent to this release, please send a notice in writing to info@rodneystrong.com stating your full name and email and that you would like to not be shown in any images.
